If you have a vintage knitting tool called a knitting spool or a knitting mushroom or a knitting knobby or a boutique knitter, this is the book that will tell you how to use it. You will need the small, plastic, cylindrical knitting tool with four prongs on one end, produced by several different companies (Boye, Hero, etc) during the 1960’s-70’s. This book has instructions for using the spool, plus patterns for pearl ropes, bead chokers, colorful belts, bracelets, earrings, etc. There are also basic instructions for creating yarn ropes which are then configured into tea cozies, sandals, hot plate mats, hats, bags, flowers, coasters, etc. |
