1) Home Art Crochet Book, edited by Flora Klickmann, Frederick A. Stokes Company, New York, undated but appears to be 1915-1920, 118 pages, heavy cardboard covers, 9” x 5.75”. Crocheted lace designs for lingerie, edgings and insertions, borders for tray cloths and doilies, deep laces for tablecloths and valances, motifs for inlet work and Irish lace. This is a book of fine laces, similar to those found in earlier Weldon’s publications, presumes knowledge of crochet (not for beginners). Front cover tear from lower edge, covers corners have rounding and wear, covers have general soiling and scuffing, interior very good, very clear b/w photos, $50 including shipping;
2) Crocheted Edgings and Insertions - Vol #2, Adeline Cordet, 1916, paper covers.  Directions for a number of intricate edgings, insertions, medallions, and laces, including some night gown yokes, rough covers, contents intact and very usable, book is complete, $14 including shipping. This is a booklet of large, clear photographs, with no printed instructions. It was intended the user work the designs from the photographs. The photos include a chart of coronation cord in various sizes, two blouses showing different applications of cord, 37 elaborate laces and edgings in different sizes of cord, a lace and an insertion of coronation size 70, two belts of coronation size 5, a fringe of coronation cord size 15, and a foldout plate showing three collars in various sizes of coronation cord. 1) 1950s Dennison Dogwood Crepe Flower Making Kit:  an unused Dennison dogwood crepe flower making kit, dated 1954, manufactured by Jack de Jong & Company, New York. The kit comes in a large cardboard tri-fold and contains Dennison crepe for the flowers, stems and leaves, plus wire for the stems, wire for the flowers and leaves, patterns for all flower parts, and small accessories. The instructions are printed on the inside and back of the tri-fold, the patterns are printed on an inside fold and are punch-out cardboard pieces which can be reused. The crepe paper, wires, and accessories are mounted to a cardboard backing, the crepe paper is protected with cellophane. The kit is in very good unused condition. The crepe is not faded, and has no moisture damage, no odors or mustiness. The exterior cardboard shows light storage soiling. Also gives directions for weaving, using and cutting crepe paper, making pulled crepe or raffia, wrapping wires, making and using patterns, crushing crepe paper, built-up crafts, working on foundations, crocheting, more.
